WRITING A STORY! HELP PLEASE!?

For English at school we are writing short stories (2-3 pages long) and they have to be intriguing, like spooky, creepy or frightening? We have been reading stories in cl about Con People (pretend to be nice but then do something very bad etc..) Ghosts, Murders.. etc. I need to write my own story based around those kind of topics. Does anyone have any good ideas on what i can do it on? By the way im in year 10 (14 years old)
