Is it okay to wash my laptop cooler?

I have a http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=75004 for my hp notebook, and it's been getting dusty lately, so I was wondering if it was advisable to submerge the whole thing in water instead of using compressed air. I'm guessing not, since the two fans are powered by electricity, but what do you guys think?
