What type of Doctor will I become?

I know no one can answer this question but I was wondering what type of doctors conduct the most research what physician specialty is relatively new enough for breakthroughs and isnt already set in its ways? I am majoring in Philosophy as an undergrad and my interest are in Metaphysics and epistemology.... The one medical specialty that interest me the most is Clinical and Anatomical Pathology. I cannot see myself dealing with dead people as a forensic pathologist however I can see myself working to find cures and helping diagnos certain diseases. please. I am open to any suggestions that are not the usual rant, or insult from the children of this website. Thank you in advance!
