Menopausel symptoms?

Feeling down in the dumps after a visit to my gynae in my Country of Cyprus and the language barrier doesn’t help. Blood tests confirmed began menopause but I understood her to say that because I still have eastrogen but haven’t had a period for 4 months its dangerous for my body and something can become enlarged and so an examination must take place and she would give me some medication to bring back my period. AND my two problems at the moment is 1. palpitations and shortness of breadth and 2. low libido and dryness BOTH of which are ruining my life. I did tell her I had a side effect to a product called Vagifem and so she said she wouldn’t be able to give me medication to bring back my period or help with these 2 things because it contains the same ingredient. Im down in the dumps. HELP anyone please. By the way heard instant lubricants or KYJ are messy and embarrasing with new any prospective partner so not really appropriate and not a long term answer anyway.
