If Republicans abolish Obamacare, will it be retroactive?

For example, my friend reached her lifetime maximum and would have lost her health insurance this year, but Obama's reform package banned lifetime maximums so that she could continue her insurance. If the Republican bid to repeal the health law is successful, will she lose her insurance, or will it only apply to people who reach the maximum after it is ped?
