Im cutting a hockey puck in half, hollowing it out, and giving it ridges so that it will be a twist seal tobacco tin for my father who is a hug hockey fan. However as the puck is made of vulcanized rubber im worried it will affect or ruin the tobacco. Does anyone know if this will happen, and if so, is their a way to prevent this, maybe some form of sealant that wont mess with the tobacco? It is pipe tobacco, i'm not sure if that makes a difference
