Guinea Pigs - How often should I trim their claws?

Do nail trims as needed. If you flip their foot over and look on the underside of the nail you will see a quick. If you hit that it will bleed. I know it sounds bad but if you hit the quick they will not bleed to death. Vet offices do nail trims ( sometimes we even hit quicks). You vet can tell when your pet needs a dental, and give advice on how to keep them clean.
